This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides an occupational outcome for industries and agencies in rural and regional Australia. Depending on the units selected, individuals can be employed not only in rural industries but also other rural and regional sectors, such as local government, tourism, hospitality, transport, construction, community services, information technology and metals. Industry expects individuals with this qualification to carry out routine tasks under general supervision and exercise limited autonomy with some accountability for their own work.

15 units: 3 core; 12 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in WHS processes; Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices; Work effectively in the industry. Plus electives.

Study Pathways:

Certificate III in Agriculture; Certificate III in Production Horticulture; Certificate III in Horticulture

Further information:

This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship. Selected units must be relevant to job outcomes in AgriFood industries.

BJ Network Consulting Australia is a Registered Training Organisation that provides training in business, management, asset maintenance, retail, hospitality, training and assessment, and warehousing. The provider also delivers customised training and on-the-job training and assessment. Workshop classes are conducted in groups of 10-12.
