Box Hill Institute's focus is on delivering employment focused courses and work ready graduates that are equipped with the skills required to succeed.
Box Hill Institute is one the largest providers in Victoria with more than 16,000 enrolments each year. The Institute delivers around 720 courses across 523 qualifications - including many delivered internationally and within industry - covering a range of short courses, certificates, diplomas, associate degrees and degrees, graduate certificates and master programs. Pathway options with partner universities are also available.
Box Hill Institute has three campuses located in Victoria which includes Box Hill, Melbourne City and Lilydale.
All campuses are within a few minutes' walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and public transport. Box Hill Central is the local public transport hub and is serviced by regular trains, trams and buses.
International students are an important part of the vibrant, diverse community. Students from more than 50 countries have studied at Box Hill Institute, side by side with local and other international students. Box Hill Institute was awarded International Vocational Training Provider of the Year 2015, the Award reinforcing the Institute's international education provider standing.

Entry requirements for Box Hill Institute, TAFE VIC
Student selection and admission shall be transparent, fair, clear and explicit, and based on consistent, equitable merit-based criteria and entry categories. Eligibility and selection criteria for all qualifications and courses will be published on Institute/CAE web sites, associated course materials and other relevant publications. Applicants throughout the process of selection and admission will be treated courteously and expeditiously. Student selection and admission will treat applicants from different social, racial, cultural and educational backgrounds equally in the application of selection criteria. Student selection decisions will be communicated to applicants in a timely manner, and according to timelines established by the Teaching Centre and/or VTAC.
