This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides a general vocational outcome in the conservation and land management industry. The qualification enables individuals to select an Indigenous land management, lands, parks and wildlife or natural area management context as a job focus or a mix of these.

Core: Contribute to WHS processes; Apply environmentally sustainable work practices. Electives: Identify traditional customs and land rights for an Indigenous Community; Collect native seed; Construct access tracks; Plan and construct conventional fencing; Rescue animals and apply basic first aid; Identify and report unusual disease or plant pest signs; Implement a landscape maintenance program; Read and interpret maps; Recognise fauna; Ensure compliance with pest legislation; Identify plant specimens; Construct conservation earthworks; plus more.
