The best thing about studying atthe Carlton College of Sportfor me was being able to learn in such an awesome environment! Not many people can say that they get to study at Carlton Football Club itself. Being surrounded by professionals who work in the industry motivated me every day and kept me striving to reach my goals.

I was fortunate enough to gain employment by Carlton Football Club in the last few months of my studies as a Retail Assistant & Membership Services Officer. Myplanis to continue my roles at the club while also furthering my education by studying a Bachelor of Sports Managementat La Trobe University.”

TheCarltonCollegeofSportplaces great value on both education and practical experience, that is what persuaded meto study with them. I place a high value on gaining knowledge and skills throughtertiary study, but I wanted the chance to have as much experience as possible and I was able to receive that at Carlton with the placement opportunities available.

I am currently in my second year working at Champion Data as a Data Collector. In 2019 I worked predominantly on NAB League and VFL matches, including being fortunate enough to work through the VFL finals series and at the VFLW Grand Final. Over the off-season, I had the chance to be involved with the XFL and now in the 2020 AFL season have been trained for two more roles and work regularly on AFL matches.
