Central Australian Remote Health Development Services Limited

Established in 1973, Central Australian Remote Health Development Services Limited is a Registered Training Organisation. It has been established to develop the capacity of Aboriginal people and health professionals to improve community health outcomes and to increase effective Aboriginal control over primary health care service delivery. CARHDS has broadened its focus to include non-accredited and accredited training throughout the NT and Australia-wide. Changes to funding has led to more Fee Paying services and the development of Indigenous-specific courses.
