This qualification is part of the Health Training Package. It covers workers who provide assistance to allied health professionals. Workers at this level operate under direct supervision and do not conduct programs or therapeutic interventions.

15 units: 10 core; 5 electives

Core: Contribute to effective workplace relationships; Organise workplace information; Interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately; Assist with an allied health program; Recognise healthy body systems in a health care context; Maintain high standard of client service; Assist with client movement; Communicate and work effectively in health; Comply with infection control policies and procedures; Participate in WHS processes. Plus electives.
