This program is specifically designed for students who have completed a Diploma of Audiometry. Advance your career in hearing health care with the Bachelor of Audiometry deepen your critical thinking and expand your professional expertise. Building on your existing knowledge, the course provides advanced insights into evidence-based practice and explores the role of audiometry within the broader healthcare system, including applications in rural and remote communities. You will extend your practice in person-centred approaches through the study of communication and counselling skills and deepening your knowledge of hearing loss co-morbidities.

Structure
You will receive block credit of 80 credit points of compulsory core units due to your completed Diploma of Audiology. In your commencement year you will extend your practice in professional communication and counselling skills and deepen your knowledge of social determinants of health, chronic conditions and evidence-based practice. In your final year, through a combination of academic study and community-based projects, you will be able develop a broader understanding of the Australian healthcare system and audiometry within it. Through your choice of specialist and general electives you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across diverse interest areas including project management and paediatric audiology.
Entry requirements
- Admission requirements are met by the following:
- Successful completion of the VET Qualification HLT57415 Diploma of Audiometry.
- This course is specifically designed for applicants who have completed a Diploma of Audiometry.
