Entry Requirements:

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a business or related field; OR Successful completion of a recognised non business award (Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma) aimed at providing the student with professional skills that include a systematic exposure to disciplines such as industrial relations, human resource management, project management, financial management, marketing, economics, ecommerce or strategic management plus a minimum of 6 months employment experience; OR Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in an unrelated field plus a minimum of two years full-time employment experience in a managerial role.

Applicants may be asked to provide further documentation detailing their employment experience and outlining managerial roles and achievements. in the form of curriculum vitae, two referee reports and a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose should address why you would like to be admitted into the course, career goals and aspirations and benefits the course will provide you. Consideration will also be given to non-graduates who have at least five years appropriate professional experience in middle to higher level management.

Charles Darwin University is the major tertiary education and vocational education and training institution in the Northern Territory.

Originally established as a tertiary institution in 1974, it became the Northern Territory University in 1989 and Charles Darwin University in 2003.

The main University campus is located at Casuarina in Darwin with campuses at Alice Springs, Katherine and Palmerston. VET courses are also offered at Jabiru, Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek and Yulara Centres as well as at various remote community centres.

The University provides multi-sector education with Senior Secondary, VET, Higher Education and Research facilities.

CDU also deliver a number of courses through the Australian Centre for Indigenous Knowledges and Education (ACIKE), which is a joint initiative between Charles Darwin University (CDU) and the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education (BIITE). The three main sites for delivery will be at the main ACIKE Hub CDU Casuarina campus and at the BIITE campuses at Batchelor and the Alice Springs Desert Peoples' Centre.
