Department of Education and Training WIL Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage the development of more professional and qualified workers in critical occupations within the Northern Territory. Over the course of the scholarship, the NT Government will provide financial assistance and paid work placements to high-achieving students who are commencing a postgraduate degree in a related field or are in their second year or later of undergraduate study. Scholarship recipients may also be eligible for graduate positions within the NT Government upon graduation.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be enrolled in one of the eligible courses; Must have completed at least 80 credit points in an eligible course (except for the Master of Teaching); Must be enrolled full-time for the duration of the scholarship i.e. enrolled in a minimum of 30 credit points in each semester; Must be a current resident of the Northern Territory; Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or a permanent humanitarian visa; Must not be a current recipient of the Northern Territory Department of Education Early Childhood Teaching Scholarship
