Charles Sturt University CSU

Charles Sturt University was established in 1989. It amalgamated the existing Riverina Murray Institute of Higher Education (RMIHE) and Mitchell College of Advanced Education (Mitchell CAE).

The University is based in the growing regional cities of Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga, and operates from other locations in the City of Sydney, City of Melbourne, Manly, Goulburn and Canberra.

Areas of study include arts, humanities, commerce, education, health, science, agriculture, information technology, policing and communications. Doctoral studies are available in all four of the University's faculties.

Description The scholarship was established by Norm and Joy Weatley in commemoration of Joy's time at the 8 Elementary Flying Training School in Narrandera in WWII, Joy decided to turn these memories into a positive contribution to the farming area by helping students in Agriculture.
Eligibility Applicants must: be commencing study at the Wagga Wagga campus in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management (or associated double degree). Selection is based on academic merit and association with the Narrandera Shire or adjacent Local Government Area.
