The Diploma of General Studies introduces you to the requirements of university-level learning and provides you with solid preparation for your university studies. This course is offered in partnerships with selected TAFE Institutes in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Port Macquaire and Dubbo.

Standard entry requirements
Normally, applicants will have completed Year 12 or equivalent, however applicants with other educational backgrounds will also be considered. TAFEs may interview potential applicants to confirm admission.
Successful completion of the Diploma of General Studies provides guaranteed entry into many non-competitive Charles Sturt's degrees. In some cases, credit for up to four Charles Sturt subjects in the bachelor degree will be granted.
