The Bathurst Teachers’ College was established on the site of the Bathurst Experiment Farm, now known as Charles Sturt University. The first students commenced their training on 12 March 1951. Bathurst Teachers College Alumni Association (BTCAA) still has strong links with Charles Sturt University by providing the BTCAA Scholarship to a student who is a family member of a BTC graduate.
