This scholarship is named in honour of Dr Ron Camplin in appreciation of his long standing service to CSU as a former Mitchell Foundation Trust Chairperson. Ron is a well known and respected Bathurst identity. Since 1969 Ron and Stephanie Camplin have owned and operated the local radio station, Bathurst Broadcasters, providing a wealth of opportunity for the many students undertaking communication studies at CSU Bathurst. This scholarship is awarded to a first year student who has achieved highly in their HSC and wishes to study on the Bathurst Campus.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must: be first year undergraduate students in any discipline at the Bathurst cApplicant to possess an ATAR (or equivalent) of 85 or above (copy of ATAR results must be provided).; Include minimum 250 word essay "Who is Ron Camplin?" in the free text box on the application form.; Attach evidence of your community/regional involvement through a letter of reference or certificate.; Outline your career goals and aspirations.; ampus with an ATAR of 90 or above. Selection is based on sound academic achievement, community/regional involvement and career goals and aspirations.
