Professional Development Grant - Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency
Level of study: Postgraduate
These grants are only available to Supervisors in the Public Service and will enable you to diversify connections between your primary profession and allied fields that impact on holistic service delivery for First Nations communities and peoples. Enrolment in the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency will assist supervisors to understand the social, cultural, historical, and institutional barriers that impact aspirations, priorities, and wellbeing of First Nations communities and apply this knowledge to establish culturally responsive frameworks and practices within your organisation. As a student you will have access to qualified and experienced facilitators, engaging online learning materials and discussion boards that support reflection and application of concepts to your workplace and professional roles. This award is available nationally and may be studied fully online.
Eligibility Requirements
Be commencing in 2024, Be a part-time or full-time, Commonwealth supported student, Answer the question (How will your leadership and the work of your organisation be enhanced by study in the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency?), Be enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency, Be in a supervisor role working at a State or Federal Government Department.
