From smaller class sizes to the personal commitment of lecturers and strong community spirit, students will notice a distinctive difference between Christian Heritage College and larger tertiary institutions. The CHC mission is to ‘transform people to transform the world’, and the courses and community life are geared towards the development of the whole person for a calling, rather than simply gaining a degree.

CHC is a higher education provider which offers over 25 courses from diploma to masters level. Students can choose from a range of disciplines including business, education and humanities, liberal arts, social sciences and ministries.

CHC is renowned for producing teachers and workers in the ‘helping professions’. Students can specialise in primary or secondary teaching, counselling, youth work and more.

In 2017, 85 per cent of CHC education graduates were employed in teaching positions within their first term following graduation. This is well-above the industry average.

The recently launched Millis Institute is dedicated to the liberal arts. Students can study a diploma or bachelor degree in the liberal arts, and have the opportunity to undertake a five-week intensive at Oxford University in England.

Students can study full-time or part-time, on campus or externally, or a combination of both. Courses start in February and July each year at our convenient campus in Carindale, Brisbane, with plenty of free parking available.

All of CHC’s courses are fully accredited and HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP are available, subject to eligibility criteria, allowing students to defer their study costs.

Students interested in undergraduate courses (except the Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts) can apply through QTAC (www.qtac.edu.au). Applications for the Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts, postgraduate courses and overseas students are made directly to CHC at www.chc.edu.au.
