The liberal arts are the arts that help students to become free, primarily by training them to think critically, communicate effectively and understand the world in which they live. The Diploma of Liberal Arts: Foundations of Wisdom includes elective units from the first two years of the Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts and includes studies in each of the four main disciplines of theology, philosophy, literature and history. These subjects train students to write, think and speak well, and to appreciate various orders of God's creation, and are supplemented with two Christian worldview units, including an introductory unit focusing on the relationship between Christian thought and the liberal arts.
