This qualification is part of the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the film, television, radio and interactive media industries. Specialisations in Interactive Media; Screen and Media and Specialist Make-up Services are available.

Structure:

15 units: 3 core; 12 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Maintain and apply creative arts industry knowledge; Establish and maintain safe creative practice; Originate and develop concepts. Electives: Create 3D digital animations; Create 3D digital environments; Design animation and digital visual effects; Coordinate the testing of interactive media products; Design, apply and remove make-up; Style hair for performance or productions; Create prosthetics for special make-up effects; Use casting and moulding techniques to make props; Create titles for screen productions; Shoot screen content in a multi-camera environment; plus more.
