Core: Apply OHS regulations, codes and practices in the workplace; Solve problems in DC circuits; Use of routine equipment/plant/technologies in an energy sector environment; Carry out routine work activities in an energy sector environment; Identify and select components, accessories and materials for energy sector work activities; Apply environmentally and sustainable energy procedures in the energy sector. Electives: Maintain documentation; Provide basic instruction in the use of electrotechnology apparatus; Assemble electronic components; plus more.

Delivering to over 6,500 students annually across two campuses (Jandakot and Joondalup), and a regional Trade Training Centre (Bunbury), CET ensures all electrical training solutions are catered for including a range of pre-apprenticeship and school based apprenticeship programs for year 11 and 12 students.par CET delivers advanced post-trade training for electrical fitters, electricians and contractors designed to up-skill the workforce across all areas of the electrical and telecommunications industry.

CET has a flexible mix of a face-to-face training, open learning and blended learning, and for certain courses, students can choose a suitable delivery method whilst easily switching or combining learning modes. This progressive approach ensures the electrical industry has a constantly growing pool of trained and qualified tradespeople.
