Construction Training Group was founded by Jim Gascoigne in 2002 as Gascoigne Training and Assessment Pty Ltd, a Registered Training Organisation, providing training and assessment services to the building and construction industry. Today the organisation continues to support the building and construction industry and is recognised within the industry as a leading training provider for both individuals and organisations. Construction Training Group have developed a core set of training and assessment programs and services, works closely with small and large businesses to develop and deliver customised training to each organisation, AND ensures employees are kept up to date with the latest information. They also offer several recreational and general courses open to the general public. It operates under the authorisation of the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority. To maintain registration, providers need to meet the federal and state regulatory standards for training organisations. This means clients can be assured accredited training and assessment programs and services are nationally recognised and meet the required quality standards. They consistently strive to provide the highest quality of training and assessment programs and services at a fair and reasonable price. In 2015, Construction Training Group obtained its first government contract with the Higher Education and Skills Group for its approved training courses, which are highly valued. Due to quality management and professionalism, Construction Training Group was awarded this contract and they look forward to extend this by keeping their RTO as a quality benchmark throughout the industry. They have made a massive step in 2015 with a third training facility.
