Recognition

The course is accredited by the Certified Practising Accountant Australia body and the Institute of Accountants in Australia and meets the membership requirements of the Institute of Public Accountants - Restricted Member IPA status. Graduates may also be eligible to join the Association of Taxation Management Accountants at the member level and may be eligible to apply for registration with the Tax Agents Board. Financial planning will meet the Australian Securities and Investment Commission's RG146 training standard and may be eligible for membership with the Financial Planning Association. Marketing graduates may be eligible for membership with the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) and the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS). Management graduates may be eligible for membership with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). The Property major is accredited by the Australian Property Institute (API).

Study pathways

Exit award: Diploma of Business Studies. On completion of the degree, students may be interested in postgraduate courses in Management, International Business or completing a Master of Business Administration or Master of Professional Accounting.
