The Bachelor of Nursing is designed to develop your theoretical, practical and research knowledge. Students' education and training will incorporate a combination of online interactive learning, face-to-face teaching, and clinical placements to ensure you graduate highly employable, confident and work ready. Students will develop a broad range of skills and learn from a team of dedicated and experienced educators, and benefit from a clinical placement strategy which is highly successful and offers placement opportunities across Australia and overseas.

Entry Requirements:

QTAC: English (4, SA); UAC: English (Standard) (Band 2); VTAC: Units three and four: a study score of at least 25 in any English. English language requirements apply.

Students may continue to postgraduate study options such as domestic and family violence practice; healthy ageing; midwifery and mental health nursing postgraduate that may provide a direct pathway into careers in these areas.

Some units within this course are only available to study online. Students will be required to meet security (Working with Children Check, Australia Federal Police Check, Criminal Record Screening) and health (Vaccinations as stipulated prior to placement attendance, CPR and First Aid Certificates, Completion of Australian State Health documentation, Manual Handling Competency) requirements. This course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Upon completion, students will be eligible to apply for registration as a registered nurse.
