The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is designed for students who have completed an accredited three-year course in psychology, such as the Bachelor of Psychological Science at CQUniversity, and wish to complete an accredited fourth year of study to become eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist.

Standard entry requirements
- A three year, accredited Australian Psychology Accreditation Counsel (APAC) degree in psychology completed within last 10 years
- Completion of third year advanced research methods and statistics
- Minimum GPA of 5.5. Calculation of GPA is based on the successful completion of second and third year approved APAC psychology sequence units. English language requirements apply.
The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
Upon the completion of the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), students may wish to continue on to the Master of Clinical Psychology and study the fifth and sixth year of education required for registration as a psychologist.

Provisionally registered psychologists are required to undertake a minimum of two years industry supervision or a relevant postgraduate course, such as the CQUniversity Master of Clinical Psychology or the Master of Professional Psychology to be eligible for full professional accreditation as a registered psychologist.
