The Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Health Services Management will provide students with contemporary knowledge and skills to enable health care managers to excel in Australia’s complex and dynamic health care environment. This course examines contemporary management of people and organisations, including effective human resource management in an increasingly dynamic and global environment. Through the exploration of global health issues, this course will explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as they relate to global public health and examine a range of public health issues including communicable disease, climate change, gender equity and food security, preparing students to take on lead roles in health care projects and interventions.
