By completing this course students have the opportunity to improve their professional knowledge and skills in information systems (IS) and management skills, especially if they are employed or likely to be employed in the computing or information systems area. In this course students will gain a broad understanding of IS applications in industry as well as specific skills in programming, systems analysis, databases, ICT services management and project management Students will also complete a unit in e-Business Systems that will deepen their understanding of information systems. Upon completion, students will have the skills to solve contemporary information systems problems and able to manage future business challenges, boosting their career advancement opportunities.

Exit award: Graduate Certificate in Information Systems. Interim award: Graduate Certificate in Information Systems. Students may choose to continue their studies with the Master of Information Systems.
