The Graduate Certificate in Stress and Trauma Response will assist students to recognise the symptoms and outcomes of chronic stress and trauma in a workplace setting and examines the physiological and psychological factors which underpin stress and trauma. Throughout this course, students will have opportunities to explore a range of intervention and management strategies and will draw on evidence-based theories, models, and best practices from disciplines including psychology, coaching, health promotion, and counselling. Designed for service personnel and allied health practitioners, the Graduate Certificate in Stress and Trauma Response will provide practical skills required to recognise and manage the adverse symptoms associated with chronic stress or trauma exposure, in colleagues and/or clients.

Standard entry requirements
- Australian Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
- And 5 years professional experience in one or a combination of the following areas: clinical experience, industry related short course experience or peer support management. Relevant discipline includes: psychology, social work or a health-related science. English language requirements apply.
