This course offers students the opportunity to focus on Creative Arts as practice and discipline. This course provides the broad based contemporary understanding of theory and practice to the study of Theatre Arts, Screen Arts and Fine Art. You will study key Professional and critical skills in a selected major discipline with the option to select a minor discipline or choose elective units from throughout the university. The first year of the course enables students to choose foundation units suitable to Creative Arts practice and begin study in their chosen major discipline.

  • The course structure focuses students in the area of creative arts disciplines with four shared core units that will address the unique career needs of Creative Arts practitioners. This course provides the broad based contemporary understanding of theory and practice to the study of Theatre Arts, Screen Arts and Fine Art. The first year of the course enables students to choose foundation units suitable to Creative Arts practice and begin study in their chosen major discipline.Students must study one Creative Arts major and also have the ability to take a breadth minor/specialisation from any those delivered at Curtin, through the 150 credit points of electives available to them in the course to gain a wider skill set.
