This program provides students with integrated education in both exploration/applied geology and commerce. It provides dual qualifications in these areas and develops graduates with unique opportunities to obtain employment in resource development and related fields involving natural resource management. The Bachelor of Commerce places an emphasis on decision-making, trends in technology and associated work patterns and other aspects of management in a highly competitive business arena. The programs emphasise both theoretical concepts and the application of knowledge to commerce and industry. The finance major includes corporate finance, financial institutions and financial markets and is relevant to many aspects of resource development projects carried out by exploration companies.
