Master Degrees (Research) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for research, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications.This research course develops a strong critical and problem solving approach to professional practice in the natural and physical sciences.   • The content of the degree should be determined in consultation with the Director Graduate Studies within the relevant School. Students without prior studies in research methods and statistical data analysis will be required to undertake relevant preparatory units. This will increase the stated course duration.

Standard entry requirements

Applicants for the Masters must have qualified for a Bachelor honours degree (first or second class) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
