UniReady Enabling Program

Curtin University

UniReady will enable students to matriculate into Curtin (and other universities). This program incorporates a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness that caters to students with a wide range of educational backgrounds, ages and experiences. It is flexible enough to allow students to complete one, some or all of the units depending on credit for recognised learning.

Entry Requirements:

Must be Australian or New Zealand citizens and Australian Permanent Residents

Structure:

Students complete the units required (for matriculation) for entry into some courses of study. Course contains core units plus choice of options. The program is available fully online via flexible delivery modes which include live web conferencing support sessions. On application, students are required to consult with the course or unit coordinator to determine eligibility and a career pathway.

Academic writing; Introduction to commerce; English communication; Introduction to health sciences; Introduction to the humanities; Mathematics; Indigenous Australian studies

Study Pathways:

Applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Upon completion of the course, an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) will be generated to determine eligibility to continue onto degree level studies. The mathematics component of the UniReady Enabling Program may not satisfy the University's mathematics entry requirements. Applicants cannot receive credit for recognised learning for completed bridging units when transferring to award courses.

Curtin has embarked on a 20-year plan to create ‘Greater Curtin’, which will see the university’s main campus in Perth transformed into a major innovation precinct for the Asia-Pacific region. 

The plan will bring together industry, academia and government like never before in Western Australia. It will include new transport infrastructure, student accommodation, dedicated spaces and programs to support entrepreneurship, and facilities to encourage new research and industry partnerships.
