Foundation Program
The foundation program is a preparatory year for students who require additional academic preparation before entering a full degree program at university. It is structured to bridge the gap between their current qualifications and the requirements for their chosen degree. You will study one of two streams depending on whether you have an offer for a Business or Computer Science undergraduate program and you will have various support services focusing on language, literacy and numeracy assistance to help you in your studies. The primary purpose of the Deakin University Lancaster University Foundation Studies program is to prepare our students academically, and sometimes culturally or linguistically, for success in higher education. It is built for purpose to use as a stepping stone to the more advanced study of our dual degrees, and not necessarily as a stand-alone program. On successful completion of the Deakin University Lancaster University Foundation Studies program students will receive a Statement of Attainment which will allow them to seamlessly transition into one of our dual degrees.
