Deakin Scholarship for Excellence - Juris Doctor

This scholarship is designed for students commencing in the Deakin Juris Doctor (JD) course who show exceptional promise within or beyond their academic achievements. Strong academic performance and/or excellence in extracurricular activities, community service or leadership will hold the key to success.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be: an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa; a commencing student at Deakin University in M729 Juris Doctor in Trimester 1 2025; and enrolled in a minimum of 2 credit points per trimester. Applicants must be able to demonstrate achievement in one of the following: a Weighted Average Mark (WAM)/Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 80 in previous tertiary study, leadership experience, elite sports performance, community service or volunteer activities, the Arts, or an other significant achievement.
