Commercial Passenger Vehicle (Training Program)

Eagle Training Services NT

This training program is made up of units from the Transport and Logistics Training Package. It provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the Commercial Passenger Vehicle (CPV) Industry. The industry includes taxis, minibuses, private hire cars, limousines and courtesy vehicles. This course is designed to meet the requirements of the CPV ID issued by the Northern Territory Motor Vehicle Registry. This course is essential for people who wish to enter into the industry.

Entry Requirements:

Must undertake a pre-course LLN assessment prior to enrolment; Must be at least 21 years of age prior to enrolment and hold a current C Class licence with no restrictions for a minimum of two years.

TLIC2009 Drive taxi; TLIB2090 Use communication systems in a taxi; TLIH3004 Identify major roads, services and attractions; TLII2019 Provide taxi customer service; TLIL2060 Complete induction to the transport industry; TLIP2037 Carry out financial transactions and maintain records; TLIF2072 Comply with safety and security procedures; TLIC2040 Provide wheelchair accessible taxi services to passengers with disabilities
