Eastern College Australia (formerly Tabor College Victoria) is approved as a private higher education provider and is able to offer FEE-HELP to eligible students enrolled in Bachelor, Graduate Diploma and Master courses. The College offers courses in Theology, Youth, Counselling, Ministry, Arts, Education, Mission studies, and Aid and development. Accredited courses range from Certificate III to Master level. Courses are currently not offered to overseas students.
The College is a multi-denominational Christian institution and seeks to provide education which is Christ-centred, biblically based, ministry-oriented, positively expressed and spiritually empowered, to equip people to serve the Church and the wider community.
Entry requirements for Eastern College Australia Incorporated
For entry into any Eastern College Australia courses, applicants are normally expected to have the following: a satisfactory interview with a faculty member; and a confidential character reference endorsing the entry application. Minimum education standards and English proficiency also apply for each level of higher education study. Currently, overseas students are not admitted to the College.
Transfering your previous study credits
Students with study credits from other accredited institutions or who have life or ministry experience which has equipped them with the knowledge and skills taught in Eastern courses may apply for Transfer Credit or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
External study opportunities
Tabor College Victoria does not conduct a distance education department. However, an increasing number of units are being offered via online study.
