Graduates will be able to engage in analysis and evaluation of information but the level of independent critical analysis, reflection and application is less than that of a three-year degree as these skills are further developed in third year subjects which are not part of the Associate Degree. It is a pathway into a Bachelor of Arts and also an exit point from the Bachelor of Arts. Associate Degree in Arts graduates may engage in paraprofessional work in a variety of contexts such as church ministry, youth work, administration and support.
