This course is for students who are enrolled in ECUs Bachelor of Commerce. Applications are by invitation only based on a students academic performance in the first two years of their course. The Bachelor of Commerce Professional equips students with the theory, practical experience and transferable employability skills, including leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem-solving, required to succeed in a wide range of business careers. In this course, students will complete one year of supported professional practice in a work setting to develop a range of non-technical skills and attributes, as well as enhance student understanding of professional conduct, the realities of working and the different career options available to them in their chosen field. Students wishing to take the Accounting major with one of the following professionally accredited majors (Human Resource Management,Project Management or Marketing) will be required to complete additional credit points/units exceeding that required for completion of the Bachelor of Commerce Professional.

Standard entry requirements

University admission requirements apply. All applicants are required to be enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and be invited to enrol in the Bachelor of Commerce Professional based on their performance in the first two years of their undergraduate degree. Students are required to have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65% or higher.
