Provides an opportunity for motivated and academically capable teachers to re-train in a learning area of great demand. All units include a strong and consistent emphasis on Australian Curriculum content and best teaching practice for late primary and early secondary students in Australian schools. This specialisation provides a refresher and a consolidation of content skills in mathematics up to and including Year 10. It also closely examines the learning needs of students as they transition in mathematics from primary to secondary school.

Alternatively applicants can demonstrate a satisfactory achievement in WACE Mathematics 2A/2B, with equivalents considered.
