The Australian Federation of Air Pilots (AFAP) and the Australian Air Pilots Mutual Benefit Fund (AAPMBF) have a proud history of supporting aviation education through a university scholarship program. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to 2 students from the Bachelor of Aviation course at ECU who are undertaking flying training and who are experiencing financial hardship.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be enrolled in the Bachelor of Aviation at ECU; be studying full time (60 credit points) in on campus units; be in 2nd or 3rd year of the Bachelor of Aviation course having achieved a minimum of 120 credit points; have passed all units with no fails; be undertaking or booked to undertake flying lessons; and be experiencing financial hardship or low socio-economic.

Amount $3,000

The scholarship provides $1,500 in semester 1 and 2 following the semester census date.
