ECU Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Scholarship

The ECU Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Scholarships are intended to assist Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with the costs associated with University study. Applications are sought from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students from low socio-economic backgrounds who may also be dealing with difficulties such as a disability or ongoing illness, significant caring responsibilities, or relocation from rural or regional areas.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; be suffering from financial hardship; and as a current student have maintained an academic status of good standing at the end of each semester (as defined in the ECU handbook).
Amount | $3,000 The scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year (pro rata for part-time study) for the duration of the course. |
