ECU Equity Scholarship
Edith Cowan University (ECU)
The ECU Equity Scholarships are intended to assist future and current undergraduate students from designated equity groups, with the costs associated with University study. Applications are sought from students from low socio-economic backgrounds, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander's, people with a disability or ongoing illness, people with significant caring responsibilities and those from rural or regional area of Australia.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent humanitarian visa or permanent residents be enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor degree; demonstrate financial hardship; and identify as being from a designated equity group. Equity groups are: rural or isolated area resident; Indigenous Australian; disability or ongoing illness; carer responsibility; single parent. Previous recipients are ineligible to apply.
Amount | $3,000 The scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year for full-time study (or pro rata for part-time study) for the duration of the course, up to a maximum of 4 years. |
