The ancient practice of Acupuncture is integrated with Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been accepted into mainstream medicine. The basis of Chinese philosophy and acupuncture theory is holistic, acknowledging the existence of a primary motivating life-force and recognising our relationship with the environment. The Acupuncture Practitioner restores the harmonious flow of energy by influencing the acupuncture points with needles, lasers, or finger pressure. Traditional Chinese Medicine, practiced alongside Acupuncture, uses Chinese herbs and traditional medicines to stimulate and strengthen healing mechanisms and restore balance.

Standard entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent (OP/ATAR score not required)
- Mature age students may be admitted by interview without meeting academic requirements if they have relevant work experience or other acceptable qualifications. Application is by face to face or telephone interview with an Enrolment Advisor
Recognition
The Endeavour College of Natural Health Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) degree is recognised by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA). CMBA approval only applies to the course as delivered in Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.

Applications for credit towards Endeavour subjects if study based on previous formal study and/or formal training, work experience or life experience may be made using the appropriate form.
