This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides an occupational outcome in conservation and land management. Work would be carried out under general guidance and supervision. It enables individuals to select an Indigenous land management, conservation earthworks, lands, parks and wildlife or natural area management context as a job focus or a mix of these.

Electives: Recognise fauna; Assist with prescribed burning; Maintain cultural places; Carry out natural area restoration works; Protect and preserve incident scene; Conduct visual inspection of park facilities; plus more.

Established in 2003, Fairbridge Western Australia Inc is a Registered Training Organisation which is primarily a youth development facility; however the village is open to all people. The income generated from business activities helps to support work with young people. This historic village at Pinjarra offers self-contained accommodation as well as providing nationally accredited training in conservation and land management, outdoor recreation and business studies.
