You'll also explore marketing techniques to make sure your product or service gets in front of the people you want to reach. At FedUni, we believe in our students having the 'real-life' experience to back up their knowledge. You will undertake a practical placement, internship or project. You'll get first-hand insights into how companies work and have plenty of choice for electives as well as being able to focus on your favourite business area. You will perfect your professional skills through core subjects like accounting, creativity and innovation and management principles. Double majors and specialisations are available in marketing, management and human resources management. Join our previous graduates who've worked in international trade, managed businesses, headed advertising firms and worked in many other areas of business. This program requires participation in a range of WIL/work experience type activities and these will be negotiated with students individually. The time component is variable.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 - Units 3 and 4 in any English; ATAR. Non Year 12 - Previous higher education studies with results at a pass level, including any 'single subjects of study', or successful completion of a tertiary preparatory program such as the FedUni Foundation Access Studies Program (FAST); Successful completion of a relevant VET qualification at Certificate III level or higher; applicants who have not completed secondary education, or undertaken any TAFE or university studies should include a personal statement detailing all relevant experience to strengthen their application.

Structure:

The program consists of 10 core courses and 14 electives. The completion of 7 electives in a particular area will provide students with a major in either Management, Marketing or Human Resource Management.

Study Pathways:

Students can progress to the Bachelor of Business (Honours) as a prelude to a higher degree in research or a professional qualification. Credit will be considered if students have successfully completed higher education or TAFE studies in a relevant area.

Work Integrated Learning is a mandatory component of the program and can be undertaken in many formats including internships and placements. Students may apply for the Industry Placement Program (IPP), which offers up to 26 weeks of industry based experience. IPP students receive a scholarship payment of up to $15,000.
