Entry Requirements:

The minimum ATAR requirement including SEAS is 70 Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English ( EAL ) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; and a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics; interstate or overseas equivalent and mature age entry.

Study Pathways:

Credit will be considered if students have successfully completed higher education or TAFE studies in a relevant area. Student can undertake the first year of the Bachelor of Education Studies and apply to transfer to the second year of this degree.

CASPer (Year 12-All, Non-Year 12-All): All applicants must sit the CASPer test. CASPer is a requirement for many of the initial teacher training courses in Victoria. It is a non-cognitive online test designed to assess an applicant's personal and professional attributes. To register for your sitting or further information about the test, visit All applicants are strongly encouraged to complete and submit a Personal Statement to support their application. Students must provide: a 300 word statement on their aptitude to become a teacher; information about any volunteer work or paid work they have done relating to working with children. Successful applicants are required to apply for a Working With Children Check (WWCC) card before commencing their program.
