Flinders University

The Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice aims to provide students with a sound training in law and legal skills and emphasise the acquisition on foundation legal skills through the integration of skills training with the teaching of substantive subjects. This degree instils in students a desire for just outcomes, a broad outlook on law and a commitment to ethical conduct and equips students to develop an innovation and entrepreneurial mindset to respond to 21st century opportunities.

The degree comprises many core (compulsory) topics covering the major areas of law. Practical skills are developed from the beginning of the course and are linked to core (compulsory) topics. A range of option topics is also offered to allow students to develop specialist interests. Students who do not wish to be admitted to legal practice may exit early with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). A number of the Law topics' classes are taught at our Victoria Square campus and the Legal practice component is delivered predominantly there.
