The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education - Online provides health and social care professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to improve the delivery of health and clinical education. The course is professionally oriented towards emerging or established health and social care professionals involved in teaching and learning in clinical, academic, or other health-related environments.

Structure

This is an 18-unit program where students complete three core (compulsory) topics and one option topic chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students the opportunity to demonstrate well-developed judgement relating to the theory, policy and practice of symbiotic clinical education within the health professions, universities and health services.

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have at least one year of teaching experience in a clinical or health related field. However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
