This degree aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in public administration, management and policy and to undertake research in one or more of these areas. It is intended for applicants who are looking to develop their knowledge of current trends in public policy and policy analysis, public sector reform and governance, instruments and issues in public sector management, and the role of culture and context in public administration.

Structure

Students complete six core (compulsory) topics and seven option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. Credit may be granted to applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management, Graduate Certificate in Public Policy or the Graduate Diploma in Public Administration.
