This graduate certificate introduces students to contemporary theory and practice in environmental management and to the study of environmental processes and systems. It is international in scope but case study material will draw especially on the experience of Australia and other countries within the Asia-Pacific region.

Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.


This is an 18-unit program where students complete one core (compulsory) topic and three option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to allow students to develop a program of study that suits their interests in areas such as: environmental decision making tools; field investigation; groundwater hydrology; geographical information systems; and environmental research methods.
