This degree provides the foundations that will underpin ongoing professional development, preparing students for further study or for a career in a computing related field or in other areas where the range of skills and knowledge acquired is needed or desirable. It allows students to focus their studies in areas such as programming, e- Business, intelligent systems, interactive computer systems, game development and database systems.

  • Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
  • Or hold the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Flinders University or equivalent qualification.

Recognition

Graduates will be eligible for professional level membership with the Australian Computer Society. Courses accredited at this level by the Australian Computer Society are recognised internationally under the Seoul Accord.
