Basil Taliangis Bursaries

Flinders University

A generous donation by Mr Basil Taliangis AM, a Companion of the University, has enabled the establishment of the Basil Taliangis Bursaries. These bursaries have been established to encourage financially disadvantaged students attending secondary schools in the Adelaide metropolitan area or outer suburbs to undertake a higher education course.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have attended a secondary school within the Adelaide metropolitan area or outer suburbs (postcodes 5000 to 5172) in the year before a bursary is awarded; have applied for and been admitted to an undergraduate course of study at Flinders University under one of its Special Access Schemes; and belong to one of the equity groups targeted by the University.

The bursary is valued at $500.
