With this double degree, students will develop an understanding of Asia's political, economic and cultural environment and specialised legal skills. Graduates will be prepared to help organisations make crucial decisions that can affect their success. Law component Griffith Law School offers a professional legal curriculum that focuses on core areas of legal practice and the legal skills that lawyers must have. Students will have the opportunity to choose law electives based on their interests, including clinical courses that emphasise practical legal skills, insights and experience. Students will make connections between law and ethics, legal theory, Indigenous issues, and internationalisation. Students will also develop interdisciplinary understandings of law and legal work. Students will take courses that cover areas such as Crime, Contracts, Property, Corporate Law, Torts and Theories of Law. In the Asian Studies component, students will be prepared to take advantage of new and exciting opportunities working in Australia and overseas as an expert on Asian affairs.
