As a Bachelor of Musical Theatre graduate, you will have gone through many facets of training to become highly skilled, musically adaptable and equipped to enter professional life as creative and flexible 21st century musical theatre performer.As a student, you will be exposed to diverse musical theatre styles and to the broadly accepted musical skills of aural awareness training, music theory and ensemble work appropriate to this genre.Studying musical theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium will provide you with intensive practical training in acting and improvisation, speech, voice, singing, dance and movement, focused on producing the 'triple threat' performer - one who is proficient in singing, acting and movement. The productions included in the degree emulate professional productions, thereby providing students with authentic professional experiences.
